It fulfils its role as a living room keyboard perfectly and the battery seems very durable, more so than the keyboard itself. This one is clearly designed as a prototype, a test to see if the solar argument is commercially sufficient. In short, we need more competing keyboards, so that we finally have nice solar-powered keyboards. But the keyboard is still very comfortable to use if you like light typing. Finally, its shiny plastic is a bit of a toy. Also, the sensors are dust nests and your keyboard quickly looks a bit lousy when hundreds of grains of dust come to star them and become unremovable unless you dismantle everything which doesn't prevent it from doing its job (apart from the small worries mentioned). My first one had a key that came apart/broken very quickly, the second one developed flaws in the response of one of the keys that randomly became unusable. Be warned that it is rather fragile and needs to be handled with more care than a battery operated keyboard of the same price, usually. Unfortunately, it is not unfortunately, because this very important asset in my eyes only slightly compensates for the weaknesses of the manufacture. It charges itself whenever theres light so you can say. It's a little pricey at 58, but for something I use hours every day, it's totally worth it. Battery hassles are a thing of the past with the solar powered Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750. The ambient light in my office more than does the trick.

Best of all, though, the keyboard never needs charging. The keys are quiet, 'chiclet' shallow at 1/3 of an inch thick, and full-sized. There are two rather plasticky feet you can use to raise it at an angle if you prefer this to having the keyboard sit flat on the desk. The great strength of this keyboard is that it charges via its solar collectors, as you probably already know both economical and ecological, for me this should be the norm. Solar power keeps your keyboard charged and ready even indoors.Your desk is about to get sleeker thanks to this streamlined keyboard. My solution is the Logitech wireless solar keyboard. Product Disclaimer: Officeworks cares greatly. Almost unique on the market and that's a shame It is quiet to type on so you can still use the keyboard in quiet locations.
